CAST AND COMPANY

ANTONIO

Andrea Aanestad

My name is Andrea Aanestad and I play the character Antonio in DUCHESS. I am a 23-year-old actress from Norway. I would like to say that I and Antonio have a lot of things in common. We are both a bit shy, hopeless romantic, awkward and we try to stay positive for as long it’s possible, but when we first get angry, we nearly explode. Hi hi. I think he is one of the most kind and genuine characters in the play. Overall It has been a fun, interesting and challenging journey. Hope you like it!

FERDINAND (3)

Louise Bender

Hello, I’m Louise and I play Ferdinand in the third act - the younger brother of the Cardinal and twin brother to the Dutchess. I’m excited to bring something new to Ferdinand, adapting him for digital theatre. I hope you enjoy!!

"Julia"

Joe Buckley

Joe Buckley is an actor, comedian, writer, raconteur, and relentless fame-seeker from a sort-of rural bit of Liverpool, where the cows and sheep graze under a pink sky, but insolent graffiti drips from the bus stops. Swings and roundabouts. After devotedly gorging on television as a child, Joe's passions range from filthy, daring comedy to heightened drama, and everything inbetween. When he's not in rehearsals, Joe can be found rabidly journaling, indulging in music, or lamenting the demise of ASDA Chocolate Truffles. (Aquarius Sun, Pisces Rising, Sagittarius Moon)

CARDINAL (1)

Daisy Clarke

Hi I’m Daisy Clarke and I play the Cardinal in part one of this play. He’s a ‘man of the lord’ and the eldest brother of the Duchess and Ferdinand. I’ve loved every moment of this process and enjoyed bringing my character to life from on the stage and now to screen.

BOSOLA (2)

Marley Craze

Hey I’m Marley I’m an actor from London. I’m playing the role of Bosola number 2. He is a complex character who I believe has been misunderstood and mistreated in his childhood causing a complex relationship with being able to love and trust people. I’m excited about this show as it will be my first Digital Theatre Show!

BOSOLA (1)

Ella Harding

Hi, I’m Ella. In this adaptation of The Duchess of Malfi I play Bosola. I have throughly enjoyed getting to know and playing this character due to his devilish nature and psychotic ways. This character is one unlike I have played before and I hope I can do myself justice in his portrayal!

CARDINAL (2)

Grace Harvey

Hey, I’m a second year screen actor at LIPA. Though screen is my passion, inspired by my favourites from Breakfast at Tiffany’s to Fleabag, I started out on the stage with musical theatre, dancing since I was 4 and continuing ever since. I thrive by writing, directing and starring in my own works, ‘NUTMEG’ I wrote last year and many more to come. If you need a villainous character, I’m your guy (seems to be my type cast at this point), enjoy my rendition of the Cardinal and please know I DON’T CONDONE HIS ACTIONS. Thank you for perceiving me.
