OneShot

OneShot is an experimental, devised live digital theatre show;

using a mobile phone, it is filmed in one un-edited shot and streamed to an online audience, watching remotely.


Filmed in Digbeth, Birmingham, UK.


In the fractured city of Bigdeth — where corruption festers, crime rules the streets, and revolution brews on back-alley stages — the disappearance of Serena Harbour, daughter of a powerful politician, sends shockwaves through a society already on the brink....

CAST:



DANIEL ANSARA



AS EUGENE NEIL



Daniel Ansara is a actor from the Isle of Man. At RBC he has been in, Mary Barton, Roberto Zucco and One Shot. Daniel enjoys going to the gym and he’s recently got into tennis. Daniel has really enjoyed this process and has never done digital theatre before. He’s found it very interesting.



JAMES BENNETT



AS D.C. CONNOR SHARPE



James is an actor based in the Scottish Borders. His passion for acting began from a very young age which has only grown stronger as he learnt more about the craft. He is inspired by the actors David Tennant, Gary Oldman and Colin Firth. Off the stage James enjoys horse riding, playing the drums or reading.



MADDIE CLARKE



AS VICKY WALSH



Maddie Clarke is a nineteen year old actor, originally from Manchester. She particularly enjoys comedy, naturalism, and screen acting. Her hero’s include Diane Morgan, Alison Steadman and Victoria Wood. Away from acting Maddie enjoys; exercising, writing and spending time with her family.



DMITRI COLVILLE



AS JACK PATTERSON



Dmitri Colville is from Hull, East Yorkshire. At 5 years old Dmitri was first inspired by Dick Van Dyke’s portrayal of Bert in Mary Poppins. Now almost 20 years later in his 2nd year of professional acting training he enjoys being challenged creatively every day. Away from acting Dmitri will probably be playing or watching sports.



SAMMY HO



AS SERENA HARBOUR



An actor from Hong Kong, Sammy is currently in their second year of the BA Acting course at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Recent credits include Sally in Mary Barton and the Oathtaker/Violinist in The Wonderful World of Dissocia.



BETHAN HOWELLS



AS D.I. RHIANNON JONES



Bethan Howells is a South Wales actress who is now in her second year of her BA in Acting. She has a love for reading, dance, writing and walks with her dog. She was inspired to begin acting after watching Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. Her recent credits include: Fanny in Mary Shelley and Chick Boyle in Crimes of the Heart.



RYAN MORRISON



AS P.C. LUCAS MATEO



Ryan is from Birmingham and has a real good love for acting who was inspired to pursue acting since the end of his primary school performance. Inspired by actors such as Mel Mitchell, Kerry Ellis, Ryan is now in his 2nd year of BA Acting.



CIRILLA NEILES



AS POLLY HALL



Cirilla Neiles is an actress from Cheshire with a passion for drama, grit and real life stories. People who inspire her are performers like Helen McCrory and Rosie Sheehy, but also her Mum. Offstage, she finds joy getting lost in a good book with a cup of tea and curating an ever-growing collection of Spotify playlists.



JOE POWELL



AS ROBERT HARBOUR



Joe hails from High Wycombe and can only apologise for that fact. As an actor, writer, filmmaker and editor for numerous personal projects over the last 16 years, Joe is excited about the possibilities presented by the digital theatre medium. RBC 2nd year credits include William Godwin in Mary Shelley and Polar Bear/Vince in The Wonderful World of Dissocia.
